Tips & Tricks

Here are some tips to help your garments last longer:

  • Sort your clothing by color and fabric.

  • Use a sponge and warm water to wipe off heavy dirt, such as mud, before washing. This helps prevent damage to the fabric in the wash.

  • If you use a washing machine or tumble dryer, choose a low-heat or delicate program.

  • Close all zippers and hook-and-loop (Velcro) pockets before washing.

  • Turn the garment inside out.

  • Don't use fabric softener or bleach.

  • Use a good-quality liquid detergent.

  • Don't leave your clothing to soak in soapy water.

  • Don't iron your clothing.

01

Wash on 30°

Hand wash the garment at a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F) using a small amount of liquid detergent. Let the garment drip dry, then lay it flat to dry in the shade.

02

Storage

Store your garments in a dry, well-ventilated place. You can also use mothballs to keep pests out of your wardrobe.

03

Special fabrics

Before washing windproof and waterproof jackets, it's important to close all zippers and hook-and-loop (Velcro) pockets. Wash at a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F), let the garment drip dry, and leave it to dry in the shade.
